I don't know if anybody told you but cats tend to drink less water if they are on wet food. when I put wet food down for Waffles she hardly touches her water bowl so as long as your little one knows where its bowl is then you should be ok
Actually i didnt know that so a huge thanks, i was starting to worry about her, she has really come out of her shell now and kept me up all night by pouncin at me and batting my hand for a stroke. She also lets me pick her up willy nilly and i even managed to get her out of her dark corner with no fuss last night. I am so so relieved!!

Well i'm draggin hubby back to the pet shop today (5 time in 3 days lol) for some shampoo as i have noticed little like pods whenever she has been lying somewhere for a while. They look like empty nit eggs if you know what i mean but i cant see anything on her skin or in her fur, she was frontlined and wormed 2 days ago. I have only found 1 flea so im unsure of what these pod things are, there is also a lot of what looks like dandruff???

I am taking her to the vets next week and cant get there sooner due to the heavy snow here!!

Re: New kitty cat!!!

Hi Chelle,

She is so cute! Im sure you will get years of enjoyment out of her, I would just let her come to you when she is ready, find out which treats she likes and sit on the floor and see if she will come to you. Just a case of being patient which Im sure you are.

Thanks Izzie how are you? she will come running to me when i walk in with a can of tuna now its so lovely that she knows me and trusts me already. I have been to the store today and brought different treats. I spend an hour a time up with her and she loves it.. but would rather play with my teddys than her new pink toys the little monkey!!
