Cat with runny poo

One of my boys (1yr 8mths) has had two running poos today, both slightly orange. He also made a bit of noise with the last one pumping...lol!

He seems fine in himself, running around and playing, just like usual and it eating normal.

We had a chinese takeaway yesterday and left it in a bag on top of the bin and found some noodles on the kitchen floor and brocolli too.

Could this be the reason for his running poo? If so, it won't have done anything really bad to him will it?

lol hopefully it's because he was naughty and ate some of that. He is completely normal otherwise.

Re: Cat with runny poo

i really expect that to be the problem especially if they were spicy noodles (hense the noise made)
i would suggest feeding him dry food tonight or a jelly based wet food (no gravy based)
hope things are back to normal tomorrow

Re: Cat with runny poo

Thanks for the advice. My other boy started it too, so they must have worked together! They've done it twice now, but haven't done it since, so maybe it's all out. The last one they had was only small too. We gave them their biscuits for tea to keep their stomachs settled, which I might do tomorrow too.
