Well. I've just applied for a new job. First time in 20 years! The wife and I set up our own embroidery and design business 15 years ago, and it's doing very well. But I've been told by the staff and the missus that it runs better now when I keep my oar out

So I've been thinking of getting a new job for a while. I've been looking for a job that I would love to get up in the mornings for. Not bothered how much it pays as the wife will still run the business and be the main bread-winner.
The Job? Assistant manager at a local Cats Protection League rescue centre!
The job entails all the ususal day to day running of the site, plus feeding and cleaning and also includes doing home visits, vet runs, cat rescue, public relations & school visits etc.
Doesn't pay much and is funny hours, but I can't think of a more rewarding job.
Hope I get it. I've got years of managerial and retail experience and after 25 years of keeping rescue cats I think i have the exprience they are looking for. We've had several cats with health problems like thyroid, Diabetes, Liver Etc. So I can take blood and give insulin injections and tablets etc.
Got to wait and see if I get short listed for interview now
