Why the hissing and growling?

Hi

I've had two rescue cats, brother and sister, since October 2008 who have gotten on fine up until now. Patch (the tom) had to spend yesterday at the Vets as he caught his leg on something, but ever since he got back Lucky has been hissing and growling at him everytime he comes near her.

He is clearly upset with both the hissing and the leg wound and has become very clingy.

Anybody got any advice?

Jo

Re: Why the hissing and growling?

he probably smells different try rubbing him with one of the towels the girl lies on, that might work. Or sprinkle each of them with talc.

Re: Why the hissing and growling?

Thanks for the advice. Have located some talc and Patch's black patches are now a nice shade of grey so i hope this will work.
