Re: Feeding liver

We have four cats, they are never normally fussy about eating but I have tried to feed them raw liver and there is only one out of the four who will touch it. If I cook it they all eat it , the one that eats it raw has never had any ill effects by eating it and I usually give about the same amount as you would find in a pouch of food. Hope this helps.

Re: Feeding liver

I thought that live gave them the runs - I could be wrong though - maybe someone with knowledge will reply soon

Re: Feeding liver

It really is only a treat, when I buy a batch to bake for dog treats I usually give some raw to Elvis, and cook some for the other 3, so maybe once a month. If I give the dog too much he does get the runs but it seems to be ok for a treat. They prefer chicken liver.
