Just moved my kitty

Hey I just moved my kitty from my grand mothers place. She has a cat there that mine was a good companion with. He seems sad now and is crying, I got a STRONG feeling it is missing my grand mothers cat. My kitty is only about 7 months old. Anybody know what I could possibly do to cheer my kitty up. He used to be so playful, he even played FETCH! Now he doesn't even chase his toys. I am worried/sad because I might have made a bad decision by taking him with me. My grand mother only was holding onto him until I had my apartment in order.

Hiya and welcome.

Looks like you kitty, could be suffering with a little bit of Seperation Anxiety & missing his ol' kitty pal!

How long has he been at your new flat???

Re: Just moved my kitty

He has been here for a couple of hours now. I haven't seen him even eat or take a treat I offered. I cannot afford a new companion for him at the moment. My apartment(I believe the english term is flat) is a bacheleors(no bedrooms so its small). Thank you for the warm welcome as well =)

That's no time at all really....he probably needs to just settle in and give him a little time to get used to the situation.

That would depend on the cat to be honest but i would have said a few days.
I honestly cant see there being a problem....we all need to get used to new surroundings.
