no thankfully! it was a stroke of luck my OH was in that day sorting a few things for christmas, they must have realised someone was home and left.
We got a new lock fitted ect so i feel a bit safer now, if it wasnt rented though I'd be tempted to cement the door up just to feel safer haha |

if you don't use the door at all, could you put something heavy behind it to shore it shut or to limit how far it'll open without you moving it.
Assuming the land lord won't let you put a security bar across the door? you can always ask them for more security on the door, i'm sure they don't want theflat damaged as much as you don't want your stuff nicked. glad nothing got nicked and your cats didn't escape ![]()
