That woman sounds very bitter, best ignored! I get people pulling faces when they know I have 2 pedigree cats.. yet it seems to be OK to have pedigree dogs

Your so lucky getting a BSH.. they are gorgeous cats and very sweet and laid back.. cant wait to see the pics!

And lets me honest here.. there are some vets that put two and two together (nice breed + the cost of nice breed) and charge more than four!
oh yeah never thought of inherent disease/conditions. However, getting a rescue/shelter moggy is no guarantee of the cat being cheap either. Our first cat Boog would have cost us around £2000 in the 8/9 months we had her before she died if she wasn't insured.

but still that's worse case scenario, hopefully pedi-kitty is healthy and trouble free.

Re: Nasty Person In Work About Cat

Thanks for all the support everyone i felt a lot better after reading them, and i do understand that there are rescue cats / kittens out there that need homes. But for me i am still giving a cat a home whether i have payed for her or not, shes still going to need a home if you get what i mean lol

All i know now is that i am super exited about Buffy coming home, and cant wait to show you all her pictures, she is the sweetest little babba ever
