Come here!
I've been there already! Didn't do much cat photography though. But the alligators at Gatorland in Orlando were awesome.

Wow! What a diverse bunch .. I have never photographed singapuras, snowshoes, asians or burmese, so it would be a real treat to meet them! Unfortunately my travel options are quite limited at the moment as I'll get back further down in this post.

I'm in Southsea.

Thanks so much! I have never photographed reptiles, but I'd welcome the opportunity . Due to strict regulations in Norway it's illegal to own reptiles privately.

Thanks everyone for your kind words! I'm sorry I haven't been following up on this thread properly, but there's been a lot going on. I'm still working on getting settled in. As mentioned further up, my transportation options are quite limited as I haven't got a car yet. Hopefully I'll be able to get one soon, and then more able to visit different places. I've been going through my archives of photos, and I really miss meeting new cats and taking their photo. I might even hire a car at some point just to get out and about. And to learn how to drive on the "wrong" side of the road.

Thanks so much. .. I haven't photographed dogs before, but I'd be willing to give that a try as well. What are you in Hampshire?

How far I'm willing to travel is stated in my initial post, and it's in the Hampshire area. Of course, I'll go anywhere in the UK if travel expenses are paid for, or it's in connection with an already planned vacation.

Re: Cat photography near Hampshire

Okay, so I have a car now! (YAAY!)
But it's not working as advertised... (BOO!)

I got a new car on Friday just gone, and I haven't been able to even use it yet. Lesson learned; properly test drive and check that everything is in great working order before buying a car. Anyway, I hope it'll all get sorted and that the car will drive well. It also means I'll have the opportunity to make good on the cat photos I mentioned when I first started this thread. I'll post another note to this thread when I'm ready to go!
