Poor Cone-Head Georgie Porgie
So Georgie is doing ok from the spay yesterday, although she isn't eating or drinking much and I have tried it in several different bowls to make it as easy as possible for her. I had to resort in the end to feeding her with her cat food spoon , but boy did she enjoy that. Felt like a little queen ha ha. She DOES NOT like the cone and keeps walking into walls and dragging her chin along the floor in a vain effort to remove it without me noticing! Don't think it will be on the 2 (2!!!) weeks like the vet suggested . She slept on my side of the bed alllll night last night, but I'm glad she slept, although every time I woke up from pain/cold/worry, I did check her to make sure she was still breathing. I've got Tinks in his room still as I don't want Georgie to feel uncomfortable and I don't want them to play fight just yet in case Georgie pops a stitch. I've added some pics of Georgie taking over the bed and of her cone head. I know it's bad of me to laugh at the invalid, but when she walks into walls and then literally does a reverse manoeuvre, I can't help but stifle a little giggle. Bad mum I know?!
