[ZooPlus] Free Almo Nature Sample Pack

Just a quick post to say I ordered some stuff from Zooplus the past couple of weeks and got a nice Almo Nature sample pack with a pouch and dry treat food. The book is great explaining all about their new packaging - it must have cost a fair bit to produce.

Get your orders in! :P

I got their free samples as well! Kitties absolutely lived the pouches - I so wish the food was complete!!

Kinvara had her raw pack this morning and loved it! And looking at the ingredients - 75% chicken breast, 24% chicken broth and 1% rice - it looks like a very good food. Not complete though, and I imagine it will be very pricey.

Re: [ZooPlus] Free Almo Nature Sample Pack

I placed a big order on Thursday which I am hoping will arrive today (weather permitting) so it'll be nice if we've got a wee sample in there to try. Will let y'all know.

Amber didn't like hers, she had the chicken flavour.

Personally, I think that is such an unnecessary PR gimmick but looks like it has worked on you.

Why not plough the money back into producing complete food rather than dazzling consumers with loads of heavily laden PR speak to flog their complementary, highly expensive food.

There is nothing "raw" about their food; just them jumping on to a rather lucrative market by confusing customers with the use of the name in inappropriate contexts.

Re: [ZooPlus] Free Almo Nature Sample Pack

Oh I got one of those tiny samples too, was a bit difficult dividing it between two of them they did love it though. I thought I'd been sent it due to my order going misssing and being re-sent (however I did find it round the side of my house a week later! ooops 12 free tins for me!!)
What was the book all about though I found it all a bit strange and a waste of paper!

Oh of course, the book is a waste really - I don't even know what I'd use it for.
Still, it all looks rather nice but I won't be purchasing their food because of it. I'm happy with experimenting with what I have without adding yet another food to the mix! :P

Handy hardback book for notes in the house... Not fussed on the food... That tuna treat stunk

Cat food, proper stuff, now all put away in the cupboard

Re: [ZooPlus] Free Almo Nature Sample Pack

I got this with my order yesterday.

TBH, it all looked like a waste ot time and money on their part. The samples have gone into the treat bag and will be divvied out at some point. I'm not that interested in changing - the kits are happy with the selection of wet food they're currently getting.
