I've offered to do some voluntary work for my local animal shelter. I got Arthur from them and he has been wonderful so I was keen to give something back.

I popped round on Sunday to see how I can help them with their website amongst other things and whilst they were making me a cup of tea they asked if I wanted to look round.

VERY BAD IDEA!

They had two gorgeous half bengals (about 6 months old) called Dennis and Mary. They had such beautiful markings and were all over me in an instant.

Problem is I already have three furbabies and really cant stretch the budget to five I did ask hubby as soon as I got home but he wasn't budging, especially if I want a real baby in the near future.

I soooo wanted them and will be very jealous of the person who takes those beautiful babies home. Unfortunately I didnt get any pictures

Maybe volunteering for an animal shelter is going to be a very bad decision if I go every other week to find more kitties to adopt

It must be so hard for anyone working in resuce - I'd want to take them all home too

If you can't take them home, you can do the next best thing, make sure they are happy while there, and are properly socialised and ready for a new home when the opportunity arises.
