Let me introduce myslef. My name is Iwona and I am a business student. I am currently working on marketing project and with my team we were having discussion as to how much cat owners spend on their pet's diet.


I thought this would be a great place to find some accurate information so your help would be muchly appreciated.

Personally I spend around £60pm for 3 cats on food

1 cat who eats 1 can of Smila/Carny/bozita per day so average is about £1 per day

Much better quality then the supermarket brands and in most cases cheaper!

Lives with a wonderful husband, 2 adorable rescue kitties Harry and Sabrina, and a flock of pampered pet chickens.

i spend about £28 a month on one cat so works out around 94p a day :-)

I have four cats and spend approx £2.75 - £3.00'ish per day.
