Dougal, I am not sure about the notch in the Mikki ones, are they easy to use?
The Mikki ones are very easy to use The notch? If you're referring to the notch on the handle, it's to rest your little finger on should you wish, a bit like hairdressing scissors. I don't use it.

Please have a look at this link : Burnthwaites | Siamese | Oriental | Bicolour | Cats | Kittens | Article | How long is my cat pregnant Mikki nail clippers are being used - they're so simple to use, and safe (the link is about nail clipping, not pregnant cats!!).

Re: Which clippers?

My nail clippers work just as well on my kitties as they do on me

I just wait until they're nice and sleepy to do it, they're like wriggly worms otherwise!

Re: Which clippers?

eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
I have tried several brands and have so far found these to be the easiest to use, giving a nice clean cut to the nail each time.
