Really hope you can get some meds in him xxxx
You have a point there. Zeus is fragile but fit enough to put up a fight lol, which makes things harder! Oh my days, I'll give it a go in the morning before I ring the vets. Hubby works nights so I'll have him at home to help......phew! I shall give it a damn good go. I clearly need to toughen up!

Hope the handsome Zeus feels better soon.
Thank you! I can imagine Zeus would be mega offended but that is worth a try too. I did try the cream thing the day after we brought him back home but we tried that in a syringe (runny double cream), not on the paws. I actually have some cream so could try it and see if he'll lick it off. Should I whisk it to make it easier to spread on him? I can see this is gonna get messy! Haha

A cat run! What a good idea! We have a big, flagged dog run in our garden for our Boxer boys to save the garden from their toilet needs lol. A cat one would be great. What do you have covering the top so Oscar can't get out?

Yep same here! Zeus is currently only having one wee a day and he did his first poo last night (after a week of not doing lol). He didn't eat for three days mind, so we weren't worried but as he's been eating quite a bit, I knew he needed to go but he was simply refusing ha!

Zeus will probably acustom quite easily as a house cat as he's always in the house anyway. He's not the type to go out for hours, he'll nip out for 10 mins for the loo then straight back in. He's a homey cat so hopefully it won't be too bad. He'll have to get over his poo problem though lol xx

Make sure that you only use very little cream, just enough to make a firm past, and squeeze into his front paws. It is durable with cream but much easier with fur ball paste.

Good luck

Re: Can anyone help? My Zeus is recovering from being hit by a car :(

Omg Oscar's Mam, that cat run is impressive! It's huge! Hmm, because we have a huge dog run, I don't think we've got room in the garden to build one of those That would be perfect though!

Oh and I'm losing the will to live over these meds lol, did the syringe thing, he hated it, spat most of it out and now he's not talking to us. He's in a big sulk. It was traumatising for him and us, I can't do that again. So I used butter on his paws, which at first he was refusing to lick off but he did eventually so I'm going to look on Google at fur ball paste cus I've never heard of it ha! As I'm going shopping, I may aswell try it xx

Re: Can anyone help? My Zeus is recovering from being hit by a car :(

Thank you! I shall go on a hunt for pate and anything else I can get my hands on. Wish me luck! Lol. Now hubby's brain is on the go at building a cat run and sussing out where we could put it. He built our dog run and has done flagging and built our front fence so he's more than capable of building one. Zeus would love it
