so upset mrlaye was just hit by a car... she was running over to me, the woman seen her and just kept going. i ran to try get her but it was too late

im so upset not stopped crying.. just rushed her to the vets and thank god shes okay. tha car ran over her head she has a flat patch of fur , her hair from her ear is gone and her little mouth is swollen vet thought shed broken her jaw but she hasnt broken anything! he couldnt believe it! he has gave her some pain relief shes on my bed now wrapped in a blanket.

my mum rushed to my house and found the womans car parkes 4 doors down! when i got back mum said the woman opened the door and said oh i didnt see it.. so she told her we just watched you look out of your window! she denied it....

and then followed up by well its a cat, what do you want me to do?

why if that was a dog they would have stopped! she went on prattling about how it isnt illegal to hit a cat, i just knocked there and told her karma is a bitch!! ironic her number was k-9 so i think she has dogs how can somebody with animals be so cold?

im not bothered about the money i just paid out.. its just the fact she didnt stop to check she was alright.. shes on my bed now snuggled up my poor baby xxx

Oh my god, how awful for you both! I read the title and feared the very worst, so I must say how relieved I am that she's going to be okay and is relatively unscathed. I guess she used up one of her 9 lives today, for sure. Be sure to spoil her and love her and tell her all the baby paws here are thinking healing thoughts for her.

As for that woman, karma is a bitch and I'm sure there's a dark place in store for her down the road. What a foul creature!! I stop for squirrels, and turtles, and I even swerved to avoid a large caterpillar one day--how can she say a cat isn't worth stopping for? I really hope something bad happens to her, like she needs an appendectomy and they can't give her anesthesia!

Poor poor Marley--keep her warm and send her a kiss from all of us here in New Yawk.

thanks ladies, im still crying ive been sat here telling her how sorry i am.. she looks so sad

her little paw is all fat too so she must have ran that over... her nose is bleeding too but seems to have stopped. shes much more calm now after the vet gave her the injection he said it was anti biotics and pain relief

oh believe me i was shaking... only reason i didnt pan her is because my 3 year old was stood with me crying his eyes out.

shes on my bed ive just closed the door shes asleep so hopefully will get some rest.

how can anyone be so cold??? her eyes were shaking and her nose was bleeding she has a little swollen lip and a grazed nose. she looks so poorly i cant even look at her withour crying. i had just been out this morning to buy her treaties and a new bowl

will let you know how she is later tonight .. im still shocked by what she said? i wasnt asking for any money but why couldnt she have stopped and seen if she was okay?? horrible cow im so upset x

Oh I am so sorry for you and poor mrlaye. I would have been going out of my mind if it had happened to our Riley.

I am not a violent person but, had I been your Mum I would have punched that driver on the nose, for being so callous and showing not a ounce of remorse. Here's hoping that she attracts a large lump of bad Karma and then has to cope with a totally unsympathetic audience to her downfall.

I shall be watching out for progress reports on mrlaye and keeping my fingers crossed for his swift recovery.
