just what mum said too! that could have been my 3 year old ofcourse it wouldnt because he does not leave the house with out me but you get what i mean.

feeling very guilty like its my fault. marley is only short of 10 months just a baby. she really doesnt have road sense.. ive seen her sit in the middle of the road and not move... i just never imagined anything would happen to her. feel so stupid. that really is it.. i cant risk her being hurt again so il get her a little harness xx

What a very lucky girl! So glad shes ok, would have been so awful seeing what had happened and losing her!!
I have had 2 cats that werent so lucky and no cats of mine will ever be let out now, too dangerous! She will be fine - got 8 lives left!!

thanks rose, she sure is a lucky girl the vet cant believe nothing is broken. especially her jaw here is a pic of her swollen mouth you see the one side is bigger?

i will do she has run of my bedroom lol just took her abit off fod up so il leave it there incase she wants some. i have to go out for a couple of hours so shell have some peace luckily the 3 year old is napping so its been pretty quiet here. dont want to leave her

Aww, this last part brought tears to my eyes.

I know about looking crazy too Who cares--they're just people I don't know. Just last week I was driving 2 hours to an appointment and I'm on the highway (dual carriageway, I guess I should say). I see a man in the median and a basset hound running around. I stop to help, as I think it's his dog. It wasn't but there the two of us were, nearly getting flattened by traffic that would not slow down--and insisted on blatting their horns at us--to try to catch this poor dog. It had a collar and seemed friendly, but just freaked out by the traffic. We ran up and down the highway, trying to herd it off the pavement--there were a few very close calls, but it finally headed down and exit ramp where there was a huge truckstop gas station. I ran back to my car, in the snow and tried to follow it, but it had vanished. I drove all around for a while, even stopped in the gas station, but no sign of him. I really hope someone was able to catch him once he tired out and got him home. At least this one guy gave me some hope in humanity, because he was just as nutty as I was

Just a thought MB - did the vet give you a syringe for feeding Marley in case she finds it difficult to eat or chew with her sore jaw?

If you are able, it might be worth having some Hills a/d in the house, and also a syringe, to be on the safe side. Hopefully you won't need it but, it's almost the weekend and you don't want the worry of her not eating on top of everything else.

Like I said, just a thought hun....
