Husband just thrown a wobbler!

The lengths I go to to keep the peace

My other half decided to warm some rice pudding up in the the microwave for our supper. whilst one bowl was in the microwave the other sat in a bowl on the side in the kitchen, I suppose I dont need to explain how Lilly decided she wanted a share too!

The husband caught my little girl red handed with her head in the bowl and rice pudding on the whiskers. He shouts at Lilly who shot off like a missile and starts moaning at me that he now has no supper.

I do the honourable thing and take the rice pudding containg kitty spit, Ok its not something I would normally do....normally I dont tell him the cats licked his tea and let him just tuck in ha ha ha

Re: Husband just thrown a wobbler!

Milton licked a good quarter of the frosting off of OH's cupcake the other night, so I took it. I make similar sacrifices more regularly than I should, but I figure I've had shigalosis once from eating after Ellie when she was a kitten, so maybe my system has built up a tolerance or even resistance.
momentofmadness and Jocatza like this.

Re: Husband just thrown a wobbler!

It doesn't happen too often but there has been the odd occasion at Moggy Towers where a bit of 'cat nibble' has had to be disguised from 'im indoors!!

I figure that, if I kiss them regularly on the nose (which I do) then the chances are that more than once that nose was either sniffing up a litter tray / another cat bottom / their own bottom just a few mins previously and I ain't dead yet then a bit of cat spit will do absolutely NO damage what-so-ever!!!!

Re: Husband just thrown a wobbler!

Brilliant........ love "the husband bit" then "my little girl"

Not long ago we had my kitten (mine) then a few weeks later we got a puppy ( husbands) Libby the kitten has been a naughty girl, trying to pinch food and jumps on anyone who opens the fridge so she can get to her milk...husband was very good about Libby in the beginning as she was so tiny and ill, however time passed Libby got bigger and healthier, then my husband started say things like "you really should stop your cat getting on the table when our tea is out" "can you stop your cat licking my custard" bla bla bla...

Then one beautiful day.... HIS puppy jumped up and snatched HIS steak off HIS plate from the kitchen table ran off with it and ate it all up.................

need I say more.............................................. ......

Re: Husband just thrown a wobbler!

I really shouldn't admit it, but lunchtime I was eating my mushroom soup when Sabrina jumped up and started eating it from the other side of the bowl

I still finished it, we both enjoyed it

Re: Husband just thrown a wobbler!

last night my husband's friend was coming for dinner with his new girlfriend (who i had never met before, and she was a vegetarian)

for the men i did chicken fajhitas, and put the salad, chicken, wraps etc on the table in the dining room.

then i offer her a drink, as the OH's mate says 'err, is the cat supposed to be on the table?' THE SHAME!!!!

thankfully the GF is a real cat fan so got the bit of chicken out of the bowl and joked she'd eat that bit lol

bloomin good night as it goes..

Re: Husband just thrown a wobbler!

Oh My Lordies.. hahhhaahhah

Our old cat Snowy ran threw my chinese one night.. I binned it.. who knows what she had stood in before..

But my neighbour came round one day with her loaf of bread in hand.. Apparently one of my cats had got through her open window and ripped the bread open and started chomping.. caught in the act..
