Have Just Been Brave....

Placed a Zooplus order for LOTS of tins of food and have included my litter order so that I could get the full benefit of my discounts.......

The last time I ordered litter & food together, I ended up with litter all over the delivery box. So I now always order it on its own to avoid this happening again. However, by doing this, I also miss out on an additional 5% discount on it.

So, watch this space.... Let's see how it goes.......

Pet Food Warehouse do a reasonably good deal on Nature Gold litter. Might be worth giving them a look, as you'll get a 5% discount on orders over £60. Pity you weren't a breeder, as we get a reaosnable discount from there.

Just had a wee look.... The deal is not quite as good as Zooplus. Also, they don't stock any of the food I feed so I wouldn't be able to meet the £60 discount value.

I also have the new savings plan with Zooplus so I get 10% discount on orders over £75 plus my cash back value.

But it is good to know of other stockists in case anything untoward happens with Zooplus so cheers for the heads up on it.

Re: Have Just Been Brave....

With my breeder discount, it works out at 80P per litre which is a teeny bit under Zooplus, and the litter usually turns up in better condition. Do you show? If so, I could whip some up to you if we're ever at the same one.

Whilst 'I' think all my babies are the MOST beautiful babies in the whole wide universe, I doubt the judges would agree.

But I thank you deeply for the most kind offer. I'll see how this batch is when it arrives.

Re: Have Just Been Brave....

I always order food and litter together and despite being awfully packaged I have never had the litter split and can only recall 2 or 3 dented cans out of hundreds ordered.

I think a lot of the problems people have are down to the individual courier. The chap who delivers our Zooplus parcels must treat them well unlike the deliveryman that once threw a 5lbs tub of fish food over our 7ft high side gate

Re: Have Just Been Brave....

My delivery guy's great with the parcels. it never made any difference though, and when the tins are dented inside the original packaging too, plus caked in dust and some sort of grime, it begs questions as to their storage and handling procedure...

MB, let me know how you get on and we can sort something out. i travel a fair bit for shows, so may end up down your part of the world at some point. Either that or it could be your excuse to visit a show and come snuggle some scrummy Persians! not that I'm biased, you understand...
