Why do some people have pets when its obvious they dont care about them and ignore their basic needs ? I say this because last week i saw the most poor emaciated dog,you could count every rib on its body and the poor things hip bones stuck out so far you could hang you coat on them. I couldnt do a lot as i was driving at the time but i did manage to make a note of where the barsteward went and called the rspca.They are going to look into it. I hope they so take the dog off him. I wish i could have done more

Things arent always as they seem, my neighbour had a very old staffy x, she was riddled with cancer and was skin and bone by the time she was pts, she was very loved but she looked terrible. I have another friend whos dog was used as a bait dog, she is a large staffy x but is scarred all over her face and legs. I personally would judge both of these people if I saw them in the street and didnt know their story, and would most likely report them as you have done, lets hope this poor dog is loved and wanted too and not just neglected, it doesnt take a lot to give a dog enough to eat does it

I often ask the same question when out and about, except it's "why have kids when you can't seem to be bothered with them?" Some people just can't be bothered about anything, but they think they are "supposed" to do or have certain things as, I guess, some sort of rite of passage into adulthood or personhood or responsibility or whatever. But they really aren't cut out for any of it.

I think i would have done the same. they probs too busy finding their hit instead of finding the tin opener for the dog food. These situations make me so made when they clearly cannot look after themseleves and find money to fed themselves how can they feed an animal. if this was a child social services would have been involed since day one.
