Talking Where is my breakfast

Cookie isn't happy with me this morning and she doesn't know why our routine has changed, she also doesn't know yet she is off to be spayed.

While she is away I am having new windows fitted so she isn't disturbed and I have booked a few days off to look after her. Tomorrow she is having a cat flap fitted to an internal door. All my Internet searches are now based on cats and not scuba diving, how can a small bundle of fur have such an effect in such a short space of time

Oh dear poor cookie, no food, nasty mummy My libby was the same just this Monday when she went in to be spayed.. what a performance she wanted her morning milk and I couldn't give it... honestly... spoilt baby..

Your life does change when that little bindle of fur gets a grip of your heart... and cookie will have you jumping through hoops for many years to come..

I hope cookie will like your new windows and cat flap... if not you will have to have them changed...

sending lots of healing vibes for cookie today, speeding recovery and fast fur growth

Re: Where is my breakfast

Thank you for the good wishes.

Going in her carrier hasn't bothered her - until this morning

She has gingivitis at the moment and the list of swabs and tests they are going to do sound expensive, I got a little worried when the vet said they might be more than I am anticipating

Re: Where is my breakfast

Yes they do have sixth sence when it comes to the carrier..

Costs seems to differ with every vet, to give you some idea I just had to pay £79 for Libby's spay.
My Libby has eye infections a lot and the usual trip cost me £20 consultation ( all of 2 seconds ) and £7 ish for the ointment... it does mount up doesn't it...

They may not do cookies op today, Libby's first op was cancelled due to her eye infection.....

keep us up-date. love to cookie x

Sounds like she went in the carrier pretty smoothly, more smoother than a particular fatty cat of ours You have to wrap her up in about 10 towels and chuck her in, and even then she manages to get a good chunk of flesh between her paws

Paws crossed things go well for Libby

Re: Where is my breakfast

Just phoned the vets, I couldn't wait any longer - well they did say between 2 and 3, she is doing well but a bit sleepy.

I can pick her up after 4pm, window fitter just finished so I can get her bedroom back to normal

Re: Where is my breakfast

Poor little thing

She also has a bare patch on her throat where they have done pre-op blood tests and they have taken swabs and samples for analysis to see what the cause of her gingivitis is. I am £179 poorer not including the windows

I bought her or of those vet beds which she has been lay on since coming home but she has just got on my lap, she hasnt eaten anything yet.

Re: Where is my breakfast

Oh bless her little socks.........

my Libby was a trial to keep still which worried me stupid........... I had to confine her to one room.

I hope cookie feels better tomorrow and the blood tests show a way forward from eye infections........... I know how you feel as Libby has had so many in her short life to date, it may be chlamidia which my Libby may have, if so it is possible to treat but a bit of a swine to clear up once and for all, but £179 owch........... on top of windows..........

let us know how cookie is in the morning
