Libby has been spayed!

Yes the big day was Monday............. she went in rather cross for not having her morning milk AND no food over night

her cat flu episode had cleared up nicely and the vet was happy enough to go ahead this time.

I also had her chipped, just incase she ever got out.

She was fine and all went well...

Mummy was stressed all day and was almost banned from the vets for telephoning every hour....

she managed to win over everyone's heart at the vets as she was purring like a tractor as soon as she came around....

so, there will be no little Libby's

She has the usual pain relief medication but other than that she is rather perky..

Happy bunnies all round.

Re: Libby has been spayed!

So glad to hear that all went well Of course she stole everyone's hearts - she's done the same here
Hope she's being a good girl now and not trying to bite her stitches

Re: Libby has been spayed!

No Lymorelynn, she has not been bothered by the stitches thank goodness or should I say YET, there are only two stitches.. I have put her in the snug room where it is quiet so she can't get up to much trouble in that room... only for a few days.
Loulou has sat in the room with her for company and support I think... even though she has the option of going out or roam around the rest of the house... how sweet is that.. give her a few days and she'll be begging to escape from Libby

Sounds like Loulou is playing the role of Libby's nurse And ofcourse it's great to hear she's coping well, tis a more major surgery for girlys

Re: Libby has been spayed!

Hooray! Now you've got that worry off of your mind forever.

I'm sure, being the little minx she is, she'll be milking this for sympathy from mummy. Have fun spoiling her
