I found this site from the Pets4home site whilst looking for our BSH. I find this forum the easiest to use by the way...

I found this site by google, asking about symptoms of a kitten I had just rescued that day!
I was frantic with worry over this little kitten Libby. I posted at some ridiculous hour in the evening asking for help and lymorelynn replied, I've never looked back and would never seek out any other site..
Pet forum is almost my Bible....... and I have had the pleasure of getting to know such lovely kind fur baby lovers and regard many as friends now, even though we shall never meet in person.

The kindness and love shown on here is just a delight to be a part of.

Last Feb, the OH expressed a desire to have a cat of his own since both of the boys were my cats and had been since before OH came into our lives. As such, they always favoured me with their snuggles & OH felt a bit left out.

Due to being a great big wimp, I really didn't want to go down the route of visiting rescue centres and trying to pick out just one cat to give a home to. I would have been in bits and would have really struggled not to blart like a good 'un.

So, in desperation, I googled cats & adoption sites and somehow ended up here!!!!

Everyone was so nice & helpful (although kept trying to send me to rescue centres.... ) but the lovely Kelly-Joy came to MY rescue and helped me to get our new addition in such a way that the trauma of visiting one of these heart-breaking places was avoided. Yes, it was a long drive to Rushden Persian Rescue but SOOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it as we got our wonderful little Abby from there and, just a few months later, our delicious little McGee. We would not be without either of them and it is all down to being a part of this forum.

Personally, I love this place. I love the peeples in Cat Chat & in General Chat. I have made lots of friends and think that the folks here are 100% top-notch. Always ready to offer help & assistance when needed, always happy to share their knowledge and ALWAYS there to lend a shoulder to cry on when our fur-babies are poorly or go to Rainbow Bridge. That level of support is invaluable and cannot be found anywhere else.

And THAT is what makes this forum so bl00dy damn special!!!!!!!

We lost our 15 yr collie cross ,Lulu,very suddenly a year ago last Saturday

2 weeks later , in bits ,blurry screen and desperately wanting to talk to people who would understand I googled "Pet Forums" ,came on here and just poured out my heart to anyone who would listen
AND THEY DID!!!

I received so much support at that time and also in the last few days when Lulus anniversary was-thank you so much

I have learned so much (we have 3 cats and another dog with dementia)
and always feel that the members I "speak to" are not just members but friends.

I cant believe it is only a year-just wish I had found it before

I've bought some essencial in zooplus for Ari's arrival in November 2011, and they've sent us some samples of Cosma. I've searched for reviews on it and the only place I've found it was in Hobbs A-Z food bible. Once I read it, I got hooked!

PS: Tomorrow Ari's going to have her first tin of Grau for breakfast. I'm so excited!

Found a scared little (well, quite fat actually) cat in our back garden and I Googled "cat advice" or something similar. He now lives here and it's thanks in no small part to you lot.

I typed "I want to find people that are just as insanely mad about their cats" into google

I really really miss not having any pets I've had cats and been around animals all my life, till my horse died and I moved to the Big Smoke five years ago for a complete change.

Still here though, still in a rental flat, can't have pets and no hope of moving away for at least another 18 months because of OH's job, so I wanted to be somehow involved (albeit virtually!!) and to meet friends who love animals too.

So I just typed in pet forum uk into Google and hooray!! Nice people who love pets too

I was looking for cat runs and pics to get ideas for Oscars run! Within 3 months of joining I was on my way to Patsy at Rushden Persian rescue lol! Mine too was a long drive there, not quite as far as MB but still a long way but Rodie was more than worth the drive
