Do any of you play hide and seek with your cats?

Merlin and I play some form of Hide and seek. Whenever I leave a room, Merlin looks at me suspiciously, I then show only my head as if I donīt know where he is and he assumes the attack position and comes charging. Itīs so funny, I do it all the time and he actually believes I canīt see him, it makes him nervous. Sometimes he gives my leg a pat when he gets me

Re: Do any of you play hide and seek with your cats?

It's not exactly hide and seek, but the same thing, more a play game of hunting. She doesn't always understand but when she does, it is good fun. He is only just understanding what to do

It's more fun when using the bed as I will peer round the corner, then pull back out of sight. Then slide over the bed as she moves to where I am. Although she knows what I am up to, I try and fool her by wobbling the duvet on the side of the bed I was originally.
Sometimes it works, sometimes not - she's far too intelligent :P

Nellie used to love a game of chase, me in pursuit and her getting all growly and jumpy as she galloped away from me, then as soon as I turned my back she would leap at me and swat me so she was 'it' again.

I do this with my kitten! I catch his eye and then duck down behind the couch or behind a cushion and keep poking up and hiding and he does the same!! His little bottom starts wiggling and he charges me and does his little marge simpson grumble. I think he likes it Sometimes i'll try to sneak away, but he's too good at stalking me and I lose track of where he is until he suddenly jumps on my head or something..the neighbours must wonder what i'm screaming at x
