Re: Do any of you play hide and seek with your cats?

Yes we do! My kittens love it! In fact all my cats even my old dearly departed ones have loved hide and seek I love the expression on their faces when they are getting ready to charge.

Re: Do any of you play hide and seek with your cats?

Only when the little madams are hiding because I'm going out or DH has left a door or window open and I think they've escaped - I usually find them under a duvet or in my wardrobe

Seb and I play it too, he loves it I hide behind walls, doors, sofa, chairs and make a little squeak or call Sebastian in a silly voice and he comes running and when he finds me he makes a funny noise and gets really excited

We also play peek a boo and run around the house with him chasing me My OH thinks I'm insane I don't care, we're having loads of fun

My cats aren't the play type, too much effort for them Although Ivy goes bonkers for her stick

Re: Do any of you play hide and seek with your cats?

We often play 'Peek-a-boo' around corners or if the cats go inside a cupboard.

However, I do feel a complete eejit when I forget where I am and go 'Peek-a-boo' to the receptionist in the office when I pass on the way to the loo............................

Re: Do any of you play hide and seek with your cats?

We do!! So much fun! I think that's why Ari thinks I'm just another cat.

I jump on the bed when she hides under and I surprise her on the other end. Once I did it from behind the sofa and she got so surprised that nearly scratched my eye out! I had two red vertical lines crossing my left eye for a week!
Or, I go to a room and she follows me... but she doesn't know that I've just hid behind the door to surprise her! In the other hand, she always hide under the bed and grab my feet when I pass. Freaking scary! She's black and it mostly happen in the dark with me looking for the bathroom in the middle of the night. One day I will be so scared that will 'spray' her

Re: Do any of you play hide and seek with your cats?

Georgie does the same, wiggles her butt then pounces. I love how her pupils get so big her eyes look completely black. She also waits at the top of the stairs and when she hears me coming, will jump onto the banister and try to jump on my shoulder as I pass. So much fun to be had!
