cost of neutering
Hello i have 2 adorable 14 week old kittens (brother and sister) and i will need to get them neutered at the appropriate age. Does anyone know what the average cost of neutering is (i live in surrey/hants border)

![]() And if there aren't many vet practices in your area then they will bump up their price as they don't have to worry about competition

my vets wanted £90!!!!!! For my boy to be done nearly died! I actually had sheldon done at a pets at home practice and as nervas as i was about it with it being a pets at home the one i went to i would highly reccomened!! My sister even took her girl jenni there to be spayed and they did a fab job! Cost us £40 for sheldon to be snipped and they did his microchip for £5 cos he was being snipped at the same time!

Re: cost of neutering
Its very expensive here in Spain, my friend was quoted 185€ (£170) the other day for a female cat and 85€ (£70) for a male,
I dont think they have caught on here yet, that if they reduced the price, more people would have it done which would mean far less stray cats... No idea why they charge so much... having had a few done (male and female) on my dining table!!! and seeing it first hand how fast and easily its done, I think its a total ripoff... just to add.... the reason I had some done on my table is that my friend used to organise a vet to come over, they would trap a lot of the strays, neuture and then release them... and also do ones that people had took in and rescue

Re: cost of neutering
Seb was already netuered before I adopted him but I did look at the costs before I got him, I'm in High Wycombe, Bucks, it ranges from around £48, spaying is more. It does depend on the vet and area.
