Basically the free health check consisted of her being weighed and asking me who had only had her a week a few questions.
Mine were both weighed, eyes, ears and mouth checked, heart and lungs listened to on all the health checks they have been for. Initial health check bum and bits checked and temperature.

Thanks Jo I think that was what my expectations were, but since it wasn't done and not knowing better I didn't question. Think I will raise the issue on Thursday.

Re: cost of neutering

£55 for neutering and £50 for a pre-op blood test, which I did as I have two moggies so no history and I wasn't pprepared to take the risk in case they had some inherited risk with anesthetic. So £105 for each cat.

Wilbur cost an extra £20 in the end as one testical had not distended so he needed his belly cut to neuter correctly.

However, it is a one off cost and I had budgeted it (not the extra £20) before getting the cats so I didn't really mind.
Cats cats cats likes this.
