tough decision

Lunas kittens are now a week old - but new owners are wanting to know which kitten we are keeping - so they know which one will be theirs but how do I choose??

Pandora looks just like socks (RIP) and so we love her loads but we keep wondering is it fair to keep her as we keep on comparing her to socks - does she instead deserve to be loved for HERSELF???

Nova is red tabby and a real mardy bum - he cries and cries for his mum- but I've a real soft spot for tabbys - he's a chunky monkey too

Star (aka Storm) looks just like his mum - he's the greedy/bossy one he's always on the go - can a kitten have ADHD - he flits from place to place on the milk bar until Luna pins him down with a gentle paw and a wash - he's a real clown
So come on peeps just for FUN which one would you go for??

Re: tough decision

yep tough choice.
Remember they are yours until you've accepted a deposit on a particular kitten or the new owner has picked them up!
I'd go for one of the boys, sometimes there's a little friction between mum and female offspring as they get older although this often sorts itself out in a few months. Boys are notoriously soppy for life and the're cheaper to neuter.

Big red tabby boy would have my vote, but then again I'm a sucker for red cats!

Re: tough decision

I'd say the Red Tabby as he's the most attached to his Mum.

Re: tough decision

Most breeders don't decide until the kittens are older and you can see their type better. I know you aren't breeding again etc but I would ask them to be patient and wait. Maybe ask them to pop the order they like best down for you so you know who wants what but, ultimately it's your choice and being rushed into a decision never works.

However, if it was me, the tortie would win every time - cos I'm a tortie freak.

Re: tough decision

i agree with spid, they are only small at the moment, so its going to be hard to choose, ask the new owners to be patient,as you havent made a difinate choice. and WE need to see lots more pics to help you decide !!!!,,,,

Re: tough decision

It's a decision only you can make hun...

Personally I would never go for an animal that gave me vivid memories of another that has passed onto the bridge. I would always find myself comparing them rather than loving newbie they way they are. They would either have to look massively different or have a massively different personality.
