dirrhea?

today when me and leo went walking he went scratching in the grass to do a poo in the middle of the park so i picked him up to take him to the dirt..... and out shot his poo onto me- YUCK!
so i got pretty annoyed at him- so i tried to get him to walk (i sort of dragged him) but of course that wouldnt work (i felt and feel really bad so i am being all nice and sucking up to him now! )so i picked him up and took him to the toilet to try to get him cleaned up! which didnt work so i tryied to get him to wipe his bum in the grass or clean it or something.... so i splashed water on it, but i had to take him home!
it wasnt really quite that runny, but it sure wasnt exactly solid! it is a hot day here, and mum said that may be the cause???
i hope its not bad!
i am also concered that he has dirreah coz he couldnt hold in his poo while i quickly picked him up to take him around 3 meters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what should i do?!

Re: dirrhea?

You got annoyed because the cat pooped on you after YOU had picked him up when he already had squatted down to do his business and disturbed him? And then you dragged it along. Lovely!

Re: dirrhea?

Hi Ingrid, I would try him on boiled chicken. Give him small amounts as to not fill his tummy too much. As long as he will eat it keep him on it until his poo is more solid. Dont change over straight onto his normal food but make it a gradual thing. As long as he is eating and playing okay I would personally hold back from contacting the vet but if no inprovement after a couple of days give your vet a phone call and ask for advice. I hope Leo is back to normal soon

If you don't want that kind of talk then either don't behave that way or don't tell the story that way, which you now have edited anyhow.

Re: dirrhea?

You really shouldnt be taking Leo out into public area's on a harness,it just isnt safe.If a loose dog ran up to him how would you stop it hurting him.

Then if the dog attacked him you could both be injured, best for you both if you dont go in public places
