Re: How often do you...?

1. Clean your cat(s) bowls thoroughly? Everyday and they always have a clean plate/bowl for each meal.

2. Clean your cat(s) litter tray thoroughly, including washing out/drying etc? Only used by Seb - Scoop after it's used, wipe around if needed. Full clean 4-6 weeks.

3. Groom your cat(s)? Both once a week

4. Wash your cat(s) bedding? Once a month

5. Check over your cat(s) including nail trims if required, eyes cleaning, ear cleaning, bottom cleaning? Always give them both a checking over everyday when giving fuss and getting cuddles. Never had the need to clean any bottoms Ears and eyes cleaned when needed with wipes. As Frankie goes out his nails/claws are always a good length and never had the need to get them trimmed. Seb's are also fine at the moment, will get the vet to do when required.

1. Clean your cat(s) bowls thoroughly?
They get rinsed with hot water and a brush, everytime they get refilled. I try to wash them properly (in the sink with soapy water) once a week, but that depends on them being empty when I'm finishing the dishes.

2. Clean your cat(s) litter tray thoroughly, including washing out/drying etc?
At present I'm using a non-clumping litter - so they get scooped a few times a day, complete change every 2-3 days, and given a quick scrub with hot water then, and given a proper scrubbing with hot water/bleach etc once a month more if particularly grotty on doing a full change

3. Groom your cat(s)?
We're still getting used to grooming - so I try to give them a swipe or two with the brush each day if it's within reach when they decide to nap on me during the day.

4. Wash your cat(s) bedding?
Technically - I never have, that being said, they spend more time curled up on my bedding/towels/clothes etc which get washed all the time. Right now I'm using the laptop curled up under the doona on the bed (I tend to hibernate at this time of year when hubby isn't home), and have one curled up behind my knees on the doona, the other is on a pillow between me & the laptop with his chin in my elbow.

Eyes & ears get checked daily, and cleaned as needed (one advantage of them prefering to sleep curled up with me during the day), again nails are done as needed, still getting used to that so 2 cats x 4 paws usually takes 2-3 days to get done. Only had to do Oslo's bottom a couple of times when he's had a straggler stuck - all but once I saw him coming out of the tray the last he'd wiped the straggler off on the floor (thankfully no carpet) but got his trousers covered in the process so that required him to have a bath.

Re: How often do you...?

1. Clean your cat(s) bowls thoroughly?

Dishwashered after every use

2. Clean your cat(s) litter tray thoroughly, including washing out/drying etc?

No litter trays here

3. Groom your cat(s)?

Very rarely, they all keep on top of their coats

4. Wash your cat(s) bedding?

About once a month

5. Check over your cat(s) including nail trims if required, eyes cleaning, ear cleaning, bottom cleaning?

I guess I do a basic check every day while I'm fussing them - wipe away any sleep, check they're clean etc
