When my mom pcisk me up from work and tells me that she went to a petstore that day and got to pet a Sphynx, my favvvvvvvvourite cat in the world.

Then wouldnt take me back to see it

I have to confess that Sphynx cats aren't my fave. Kind of look like aliens with their huge eyes but each to their own. I have heard that Sphynx cats feel like a warm peach.

It must have been a bummer for you though as your mum got to pet one instead of you

oooo come on there sooooo cute, they have been my dream cat for years, Ive read up everything I can about them. Just never seen one in person and was so sad when my mom told me she got to see one and pet it to meanie

I was told they feel like a warm suede water bottle.

Taylor Baby I don't think the cat was purchased just seen and stroked the OP is gutted cos her mum wouldnt take her back to the petstore to also see it, not to buy it.

NO my mom didnt buy it from the store she went in with her friend with her friends dog and there was a sphynx. Alot of pets stores here often have cats
in them either owned by the owner or worker there. Or in some cases have kittens/cats brought in for the day from shelters to help them be adopted.

My mom got talking to the owner who rescues Sphynx and Devon Rex as well they have six cats and two dogs themselves.

Im going next week on pay day to have a look, that way I have an excuse to do some shopping.

For me to buy a Sphynx cat here itll cost me over a thousand dollars Ive decided thatll Ill get one for my college grad in five years!

i must admit sphynx arent my fav breed either, but we all have differerent tastes, like i love birmans and i have never seen a sphynx in person so i shouldnt judge a cat by its looks
anyway hope your mum lets you get one

Well I asked her what she thought and she was like very interesting and she wouldnt mind having a hairless alien walking around the house

I should get a picture as I love to garden my mom bought me for christmas a big garden statue of a Sphynx! At first I kept mistaking it as a real cat out of the corner of my eye was waiting for it to move.

Are Sphynx cats very expensive in Canada? Over here in the UK they are VERY expensive over £1000 I think

Yup Ive seen ads for up to 3000$ and told they can hit 5000$ for certain colours, apparently chocolate I was told is the most expensive.
