Is anyone else's cat a complete jerk? I have three, Dexter is the big boy of the group. Really soft silly purrer who is always happy. Lola is the baby of the bunch, she's a bit wild but very affectionate. Then there's Oscar... He is just something else
You can't really stroke him, he just doesn't enjoy it. He tolerates it but his ears go back and you can tell he's just thinking 'get off me or I'll kill'. To strangers sometimes he's an absolute sweetheart, sits on their lap, purrs and rubs all around. But otherwise everything is very much on his terms.
I've pretty much come to the conclusion that he's going to be one of those cats that just does his own thing for his entire life and is content with that. Of course I love him non-the-less! He's part of the family and I just look at his behaviour as annoying but quirky. None of my fur babies got the greatest start in life but he is holding a mega grudge on the world!
So, has anyone else got a cat that is an a*se?

Max is a bum for other reasons. He's lush and loves his cuddles. He literally fell asleep on my face the other day but he hunts EVERYTHING. If you walk past him on the stairs he'll try and grab your feet. If your on the computer he'll hunt whatever's moving on the screen. The other night Mum was on the sofa and he was sat in the window behind her hunting her pony-tail, I was just waiting for him to full on pounce on her head.

My friend had a little ginger Tom, and he was a complete a**, he'd purr at you and rub against your legs but if you went to smooth him he'd hiss and attack.... He even did that to my friend and her husband. However, he would occasionally decide to jump on your lap, if he did you just had to accept the honour without touching!!! He died a few years back and I still miss him as he was a complete loonie

my tula lol she isnt an arse either she is an evil sadistic b**ch!! I love her none the less for it but she is a vicious cow lol, sits on your knee, does the hole love me but then attacks you. She doesnt scratch like a normal cat would ohhh no she latches on to you with her teeth!! My baby tula below she is the one sitting up looking at me like she is going to kill me

Scamp is adorable, never a lap cat and never will be, although I have some rare footage of him on hubbys lap. He pretty much does his own thing and is very independant, he does like to be near us and sits in the same room or on the stairs in the evening surveying his slaves from on high (our stairs are in the lounge) he's actually a bit of a character and we love him to bits, I wouldn't call him an a**hole though but he can be a pain in the neck when wanting food etc, he knows how to get just what he wants and is more likely to be called an awkward little sod or little b****r but in an affectionate way

A definite Jekyll and Hyde cat.Never uses his claws luckily but has no problem with unexpected biting.Has always been like this but is so much better than he used to be.He now rarely draws blood,but will launch himself from the floor and wrap his front paws around your arm while grabbing some skin with his teeth.The things we slaves will put up with
