returning kitten/puppy,whats the silliest reason.

Whats the stupidest reason someone has ever given you for returning a kitten/puppy?
I once had to drive over 100 miles to pick up a kitten THE DAY AFTER I SOLD HIM to what i thought to be a responsible young manreason was kitten was to clingy and wouldnt leave him alonehe said he had to shut it in bathroom,as he wanted to be with him all the timehe said if i didnt come straight away he would take him to a cats home,i was furious, but kept it zipped as i wanted to make sure i had him back, and didnt scare him off, total idiot but im glad he called me.

Re: returning kitten/puppy,whats the silliest reason.

When I was searching for the right kitty for me, I came acrosss and beautiful blue BSH that was six months old. The reason she was selling him was that fact he wasn't a registered pedigree, despite the fact he was a present from her fiance. I thought that was really sad.

What an idiot! I agree, I think the kitten had a lucky escape. Glad you didn't refund his money!

Isis was returned to her breeder by one person because he went to bed angry at her and woke up angry at her i think she was about 10 weeks at the time.

Re: returning kitten/puppy,whats the silliest reason.

I had someone buy 2 kittens off me last year, earlier in the year they'd got 2 off another breeder too. Plus they had a Maine Coon. Then had an email saying they were moving abroad and could afford to take all the cats/kittens. Fair enough you say.......but,.... they put one of the other Norwegians in rescue, to which the breeder went mad and insisted on having the other cat back, then I was told to pay for my 2 or they'd go to rescue too!! Anyway after a few weeks and not paying we finally got them out. A week later I found out this person had gone and bought 2 new Maine Coon kittens Funny eh, considering they could'nt afford to take our cats with them
