My owner- I mean cat -Jess is pretty fussy about eating dry food. Problem is, just feeding her meat is more expensive, and I find she eats alot more too, so I don't want to do it. Does anyone know of any particular dry foods that may be a good idea to try with her (highness), to see of I can get her to eat a little more?

What makes you think that feeding a wet diet needs to be more expensive than a dry diet.Have you had a look at this Feeding cats for beginners (and more seasoned cat owners alike) link .Dry food ,for many reasons is not the best diet for cats. |

Re: My Princess is a fussy eater!
Hi there,
I cant really advise you, as I am also new to the forums, but we are having a similar problem. Our adult cat Daisy was on Science Plan Diet cat food...but one day just refused it - and all other dry foods we tried (Go-Kat, Iams etc)....so we moved her to wet food...but she keeps changing her mind on that too!!! |

If she's fed wet food alone she eats ALOT more overall than on a mixture of wet & dry, I guess she must find dry food more filling. The problem is, if she's on wet food alone she gains weight, which could lead to health problems, it costs me alot more because of having to buy more food, or the alternative is to leave her begging for food, which is unfair on her (and her behaviour then becomes very erratic too). |
