Jumpy is turning out to be a proper little character - he is so clever, especially for only 4 months old!!! The other day he jumped right up to the top kitchen units from the height of the worktop opposite!!!!!!! I had to then show him a safe way down, across the fridge! Also he loves going in the bathroom and poking his nose into the bin, so I replaced our old bin with one with a lid - and guess what, the first thing he does is try to push the lid off with his nose!!!

We always have to keep the loo lid down, or he will stand up on tiptoes and peer down into the pan, especially when it flushes!

On Sunday I heard the sound of running water in the kitchen, and went out to find that Jumpy had turned on the hot water tap and was purring away, very pleased with himself!! Have now stuck 2 large heavy soup tins on top of the taps when not in use!!!

He can also eat with his paws, I thought only Maine Coons did this!!

Have also now ordered some child safety locks for the fridge freezer, as I am terrified he will soon decide to push it open when he walks across the top!

He sounds like one cheeky clever little chap and a total ball of energy. Bet his is also a complete pleasure to have around.

Sure is!! He thinks he's human! Likes to know how everything works and often uses his nose like an extra hand to lift things up!!

Haha! Hope not!! It was a worry to see him jump so high up to the top of the kitchen units the other day!! As he's only 1/3 of the way through his first year, will that mean he can jump 3 times as high when he's fully grown??? He'd be parachuting off the roof of the house... I guess his previous owners certainly gave him an appropriate name...!!
