Very handy when I have to get up in the week though
I would (I do) but then I get woken up by foot pouncing! (Which ,I might add, they come back and carry on with even after I've got up,fed them and gone back to bed at the weekend!)

Re: Any tips to stop door scratching?

I learnt to sleep through the foot pouncing - then Rowan got creative (Cat Man Do by Simons Cat was based on Rowan I think )

He does the foot pouncing, I roll over and go back to sleep, he does the head rub, then kneading the duvet, I roll over and go back to sleep.

His newest thing is to creep under the covers and pretend to curl up and go to sleep, as soon as I am back to sleep, he creeps up, starts kneading on my upper inner arm, if I dont stir quick enough, the claws come out a little more, as soon as I utter a sound he nips my upper inner arm

Knowing that is coming is enough to get me into zombie breakfast mode

edited to say: I feed them a little extra for breakfast at weekends, and give them a few treats on top to keep them occupied for longer

I accidentally shut #1 cat, Bola, in the dining room overnight a year or so back. I could hear him at silly o'clock but just thought he one *in a mood* so turned over, a big mistake as I couldn't believe the mess he'd made of the carpet trying to dig under the door
