Re: Cat litter pearls
I don't think you can get large bags. There's something similar from Chrystal Clear I think, but it isn't pearls. It's a silica based litter though.
Not trying to be confrontational, but i really wouldn't reccomend using this long-term. Silica dust has been strongly linked to cancer in humans, and while the litter is the best I've ever come across for controlling odour and dealing with poos, the risk outweighs the benefit for me. As I say, I'm not pointing this out to be confrontational, but more because very few people know about that side of it. |

Re: Cat litter pearls
I am guessing you mean those little white balls? Have only seen them in small packs and only ever bought them once when I couldn't get the usual stuff, they rolled about everywhere, and I am still finding them in things after about 4 years!
I also used to buy the silica litter until I read that it causes respiratory problems.

Re: Cat litter pearls
Thanks all and Cary thanks for letting me know. I bought a small bag the other day just to see what it was like. As it happens the cats are not fond anyway. Thanks again.

Re: Cat litter pearls
Glad you didn't think I was throwing stones, Sharon. It's great stuff if the cats will use it, but the risks are too great for me to use it in the house. Wish they weren't though, as it controls poo smell better than anything else I've ever tried.
