Hope Shadow is feeling better soon.You'll soon get the hang of it with tablets-i'd never given a tablet to a cat before until I got mine just over 6 months ago but they've had quite a few tablets since then between them (touch wood for minor things only) and I'm much better with the pill popper now.

I hope he gets well soon.

There is no change in him this morning so I will get an appointment to see one of the vets. Puss knows he is not well and last night where she would normally sleep close to me, she actually cuddled into Shadow on my bed which is rare during the night. Knowing my two it would be near on impossible to keep Shadow isolated from Puss, that would stress them out.

Just got back and it seems he has a viral fever as the vet described it. He has been given a long term shot of antibiotics and another shot to lower his temperature and starting tomorrow I start giving him Metacam oral suspension and mix it with his food, assuming he will eat. Dont you hate it when they are ill or just off colour
