Hi my cat has not pooed sinced sat night, i am slightly worried about her, any ideas?

What do you feed her? Is she an inside or outside cat? Could she have eaten anything she shouldn't (including plastic wrappers, cotton thread etc)? Is she still eating and drinking? If she goes outside could she have been in an accident?

And just to add some more questions into the mix : is trying to poop and straining but nothing is happening or is she happy in herself and not even trying to go? Did you recently change her food?

Hi she is not trying but yeah recently changed her food to dry mix and chicken. she is dribking and seems happy just not going?? She is an indoor cat as well.

Do you want to tell us more what you changed her to and what from? Does she now get more dry food than she used to? And when you say chicken; do you mean homecooked chicken or even raw chicken or chicken-flavoured cat food, which I presume is wet.

If you have recently introduced more dry food from a previously mostly wet diet, then I could very well be that she is constipated.

Its a complete and homemade chicken. yeah she is having more dry food she prev had as she haf meat and dry mix. we were recommended to get smyply complete mix. my little baby bless her. She is still go for wees just not numbet twos

Sorry, one more question. When you say that it is complete and homemade chicken; what do you mean by that? Do you use supplements or just chicken breast/leg etc? Do you feed bones (not cooked)? Offal? Or is it just the meat you are feeding? And you say you feed 50% of her daily diet like that?

I am noticed that drinking a lot of milk makes the cat poop more! And on a high protein diet, like meat and fish, it does not go that often!

Dont apologise i am happy for ur help on the issue. its just chicken breast no bones at all. I then leave down some complete bics as she is under weight. The reason she not on wet food is the rescue said she tended to let it dry out.
