Re: would you let friendly cat outside?
Catweazle is a real people cat, he loves attention and keeps travelers company at the bus stop. He plays with the neighbours' dogs...
Everybody knows him, he is a local celebrity, as he 'writes' a column in the community paper. But I think that if someone tried to grab him, he'd fight like mad. He even misbehaved very badly at the vet's last week, as he took a disike to the way the new young vet touched him. He even bit and scratched me... So unlike Catweazle.....

Re: would you let friendly cat outside?
My two are strictly indoor only, for a variety of reasons, including the major tunnel construction occuring just down the street, and a busy main road close by as well.
As others have said, ignore what other people have to say, if you aren't 100% happy with them going out, then keep them in. If you want them to have more outside time than they currently get on the harness then as others have said, consider a cat-run/enclosure or cat proofing your garden. In the end it's better to be safe than sorry. |
