As you can see I am new.
My name is LJ and I have just become a mummy to a gorgeous Maine Coon cross, called comet. He's six months old. Comet was abandoned at the local tesco and they were gonna give it to the cats home, so my mum's friend at work's friend took the cat in but she is a dog breeder so hasnt any room for it, so we said we'll have it.
The cat in the picture is Skye she is next doors but spends all day in our house. Kinda nervous about how she'll react to little comet.

I have booked a vet's appointment for Saturday morning to get Comet checked over. We arent sure if he's been neutered as we arent picking him up til tomorrow. and as he was stray no body knows anything about him.

Just wondered if anyone else had any advice for me.

my mum's friend breeds pedigree cats and she said he was I dont know how she knows maybe its cos he's so fluffy haha

aww glad he's found a loving home.. how can anyone just dump a kitten like that? unbelievable.

we wondered so Tescos have had a notice up over the past month and no body has come forward they also called the cats home incase anyone had rang them about him. We also put a advert in the paper. I dont know how anyone could abandon a kitty, thats why we have cats homes!!!

im sure when you upload piccys the maine coon people wil tell you if they think it is one
