What do we think about whomever wins this competition,donating the vouchers to their local rescue centres,or raffling them and donating the cash being as were on top of christmas and a lot of homeless and poorly cats/kitts will not be getting any cuddles,or the smell of xmas dinners wafting thru their bodys,or the warmth of radiotors or open fires, and will be lucky to get a blanket,pressies may help them enjoy a little bit of the christmas spirit,i will assume that all our cats are lucky they have toys,great food and devoted slaves,these poor souls have small to medium cages and the odd touch from a human but anyway just a thought

Great Lyn,as you know they all need help but the smaller,local ones don't get any publicity or awareness so people don't think about them as much as the more known charities and everyone with any pet will have benefited from them,their but for the grace of god go i and my loved ones

A very good idea indeed

My hairdressers have a collection each year for our local shelter, all animals, not just cats. I've given them some blankets I got at the supreme and all my dry food samples.

We also have a collection for the cat's protection in sainsburys for tinned food. Great idea for all the food my cat's stick their noses up at! Fussy.....

They get more than the odd touch though, honest. Well at the RSPCA near me they do. I used to volunteer there for 3 years each sat and sunday one and off and have even done a christmas day stint. The cats got lots of love and belly rubs. But yeas I know it's not the same as having a home.

Thats a lovely idea, we have a small cats in need shop near to us. They really do need all the help they can get. xx

So up to now,everyone who has posted is up for it then because if so and any of you win anything,dunno if you'd pm Saynamore or Pf's or rotties/selks,but really glad you lot are up for itIt's the least we can do,and can i also add that anyone who doesn't want to do this for real would not be thought of any less and would still probably get a visit off Santa,but we are a nation and pf community of animal lovers

Lovely idea sk,there are a couple of small rescues near me,i donate a little when i can,they are not just for cats,but have everything and anything.

I have not entered it but was just saying it's a good idea as I believe people will choose their friend's and not the cat.

I have entered and yes I would be willing to do that. It is such a lovely idea and I wouldn't have even thought of it if you hadn't said.
I have dropped hints to family because I want Waffles to get a cat tree (yes, my family are buying her xmas presents but because it is tight this year they are not getting me anything..... ) so, hopefully she will get one. She is a lucky kitty and I would be willing to help others cats.
