Re: Just an idea but....

I voiced my opinion on the person asking for votes as I felt it very unfair on the genuine people. I am sorry for my concern.

Re: Just an idea but....

If my lot won the vouchers would go to the rescue centre i used to help out, and i personally dont see the problem with asking for votes if it all going for a good cause at the end of the day you cant force anyone to vote can you?x
But then im sure a lot of favouritism goes into a lot of comps x

Re: Just an idea but....

Hi,

Well as a newbie I can honestly say I picked the cats I liked not the owners. I think the standard is so high, really gorgeous pics and I think the owners should be so proud of themselves for having such fab cats/kittens.

I think its a nice idea to donate the vouchers and thats down to personal choice, personally I think the winner should enjoy the vouchers themselves. These cats wouldn't look the way they do without the care and devotion that their owners put in so they deserve the prizes. Just my humble opinion!

Izzie

Re: Just an idea but....

I'm also a newbie and hardly know anyone on here so it was purely down to the which cat l liked the best.

I do like the idea of donating the vouchers or even some of the vouchers, but I feel it has to be down to personal choice and no pressure should be placed on the lucky winners. I know now that If one of my fur babies won anything that I would feel obliged to donate my vouchers and I'm not sure that was the intention of the person that came up with the great idea.

I already do my bit for charity as i'm sure a lot of you do too, for example I have a a monthly direct debit to the shelter I got one of my fur babies from and I also sponsor a long term resident at a shelter in the US because he it the spitting image of one of my other fur babies. I also stick a box of food in the CPL bucket regullarly at my supermarket.

Re: Just an idea but....

Tracey, your absolutely right it was never my intention(which in one of my earlier posts i thought i'd said D)to put pressure(which is flattering as i really have no sway with anyone)i simply wanted to plant the seed of thought and let everyone and anyone make their own choice,we are all good people who for the most part contribute be it small or big in ways to help charities whether animals or humans,so thats it really but again for anyone who hasn't read my earlier posts or didn't get what i said, the thread starter says exactly..Just an Idea, imo it wouldn't make anyone a lesser slave/person for keeping the vouchers and their cats/kitts enjoying their prize,so again wishing everyone and their beloved and beautiful cats/kitts the very best of British
