One very tired Mummy and Kitten slave.

After a sleepless night the night before due to my son having problems with his ears due to the cold that we have all now been affected with For example son wakes up 3am in the morning screaming his head off, comes into to our bed and goes to sleep again for 15mins, wakes up demands his Cars 2 DVD (sometimes I wish we didn't have a TV bed ) Can't calm him down, daddy at work the next night (does 12 hours shifts) so I take him down stairs along with 2 duvets and pillows, give him some Calpol to settle him. Big mistake he's bouncing until 7.30am when he finally falls asleep, so yes I'll have a nap too, 2 hours later he's awake again.

So you can imagine my relief when it gets round to bedtime again!!!

Kittens wake up just as I'm going to bed, give them some food to nibble on over night. Just get into bed a lot of barking and snarling, go downstairs to find the Spaniels are fighting over the cat food even though the cats are fed up on the sideboard. Tell the naughty spaniels off who then make me feel guilty by giving that sad eye look which spaniels are pro at doing.

Go back to bed to be woken up by barking again, spaniels are spooked by the gails outside, So I take them up to bed with me.

Back to sleep again to be woken up by the kittens knocking over the shampoo bottles in the bathroom.

Back to sleep again, my son then wakes up complaining his ears hurt again downstairs to get the calpol, luckily this time he gets back to sleep and so do I for a couple of minutes until I'm woken up with a fright by loud playing music in my bedroom, I realise it's one of the kittens has stood on the on button on the stereo and turned it on.

Well, me and my son get up this morning I look at the time and wonder where my OH is. Poor bloke had come in from a 12 hour night shift and was just about to come to bed when he opened the door to find us both asleep and no room in the bed for him

Found him trying to sleep on the sofa bed unfortunately the kittens didn't want him to go asleep so kept jumping on his head, running across him and nibbling his toes

Where are the Kittens now? Both Fast asleep on their cat tree
