The cat IQ test.

A friend just gave Merlin and I the "Test your cat" by E.M.Bard book. It has a cat observation test section and a cat performance test section. Has anyone tried this before? For now Merlin seems to be doing ok with the cat observation test, IŽll try yhe performance this weekend. Hoping like it says in the book to have an undiscovered genius at home

Re: The cat IQ test.

That sounds interesting.
I'm afraid of testing Ari. She might be an evil genius which is more scary than the lazy brain we suppose she is.

Re: The cat IQ test.

I have seen the book and it does intrigue me, I was tempted to download it on my kindle.... Although I think I'll know the results.... Harry is beyond stupid... Sabrina is too clever for her own good

When Sabs mated with Harry's Dad it was obviously for his looks not his brains, as Harry is very beautiful but he ain't half stupid

Re: The cat IQ test.

Can you put some of the questions and tests up for us so we can do them to our kitties?

Re: The cat IQ test.

I think I have it on my shelf somewhere.

However, I believe that cats are SO damn clever, they will never fully reveal their IQ to us shoomans. It is to their advantage to keep us wondering.

Knowledge is power and our cats like to have as much power over us as possible.

Re: The cat IQ test.

2)Eats all kinds of food (human and pet) answers as in the other post.
3) Can show when he is not happy with the food he is given.
4)Washes his face after eating
5) Keeps his tail flat on the floor when eating

I changed a few words to avoid copying the book, if you guys want more let me know and IŽll put them up.

Re: The cat IQ test.

Alfie got the OH this for xmas to prove he's not as thick as he thinks he is (that's Alfie not the OH... I think..)

We've done the 1st section but Alfie's not playing ball with the 2nd section at the moment so we can't finish it! Little bugger!

I completed the first section at work, except a few questions that I have to observe him in.
