New Years Surprise
So....my OH, as part of his university requirements, has been volunteering at the local animal shelter--the one where we adopted Blake and Chaucer. New Years Eve he brought home some needy little mites.
We're still in the naming stage, but we're thinking Milton for the little black one who, though looking a little raggedy, is very much like Chaucer. The shelter thinks he's about 3 months. For the little girl (4 mos they think) with the mustache, we are leaning toward Dagny. My two favorite female literary characters are Tess Durbeyfield and Dagny Taggert. She's very confident and spirited and utterly fearless, without a tragic air, so I might finally get to use the name for a pet. The other idea, to keep in the author theme, would be Ayn. But we are definitely open to suggestions (hint hint, help us out!!)
So, enough of my babbling....here's some piccies for your enjoyment
