Talking Wobbly teeth!

I've been a bit concerned about my kitten (nearly 5 months old) because she doesn't seem to be eating as much as she was before. She had her immunization booster last week and was a bit ill but she seems recovered and is full of beans. Anyway, I just noticed tonight that two of her incisors (?) are very wobbly. So cute! She's losing her baby teeth. It explains why she's not so keen on her food. I hope I can find them when they fall out. What do you think the tooth fairy will leave her? She doesn't have much use for pennies.

Ours are about the same age and I hadn't thought of them teething but maybe that explains why they are chewing everything in sight (including us lol)! Do they do teething toys for cats? I know you can get similar for dogs but the selection of things for cats is pathetic in comparison!

Re: Wobbly teeth!

I read somewhere that teething kitties enjoy chewing on thick plastic drinking straws. I haven't tried those yet but she does have a cardboard box that she likes to chomp on.

Re: Wobbly teeth!

Mikah just recently lost her baby teeth! The same day I noticed they were loose they fell out! (Or maybe the next day.. I'm not sure)

I found one in her empty food bowl.. and I found the other embedded in my foot!

Re: Wobbly teeth!

Aah! They came out last night after lots of playing. I found one on the floor. It's tiny. I'm still looking for the other one.
