Cookieandme will become famous soon enough
Re: Fireworks

Happy to report fireworks were not as loud or as many as normal, in fact hardly noticeable. We went to bed early, pre midnight and she has the kitchen, stairs, landing and back bedroom so if she was effected in anyway she didn't make any noise.

Re: Fireworks

Fireworks were quite heavy over here, but it hardly bothered them, fortunately.
Tosca was miffed she was kept indoors for a full 36 hours, that's all....

Tonti is on a distinguished road
Re: Fireworks

It didn't bother the cats but it did bother me last night. I was just nicely nodding off when they started and then it was like the battle of Waterloo for about an hour. Why can't someone invent silent fireworks? Or are the bangs half the point?

Re: Fireworks

The adolescents over here prefer a loud bang, they even buy fireworks with no pretty lights AT ALL, just BIG bangs.
Sometimes it sounds big enough for a new universe to be created. Especially if they drop it in a litter bin or in the hall of a building.
dorrit likes this.

We had a load of those types outside our house .. The litter bins in the park have been exploded and I have to phone the gemeente this morning to complain otherwise they will leave the mess for weeks...
