I can't get on with people who don't like animals; it seems unnatural to me. I can understand people who are afraid of them, that is a different matter, but to simply dislike them - I find that bizarre.

As far as I'm concerned, if it's got fur and doesn't fly, I like it! I am not too keen on things with horns, they scare me, but I wouldn't say I hate them or even dislike them. They just creep me out a bit

As long as it doesn't fly! I don't like bats; they are furry but they fly. I am afraid of anything that flies.

ah i see well I'm ok with birds and bats not that i would be ok with loads flying at me lol for me its anything that slithers i can't handle it i will run off screaming and crawls spiders freak me out luckily my cat loves eating spiders

Spiders don't really scare me, though I wouldn't pick one up. I actually have a mansion sized spiders web in the kitchen, just waiting for them to all move out as they have done a great job of getting rid of the flies!

I am not really scared of reptiles either, though again I wouldn't want one too close. Birds terrify me, even tiny ones. I once rescued a little zebra finch that was sitting outside our horsebox in the pouring rain. I was very brave - held out a flower pot with horse feed in as far away as I could get. Then I borrowed a cage and took him to the vet. Luckily for both of us he was too weak to flap or I would have run!

I quite like spiders There was a HUGE spider in the men's toilets in my office last year, 3 or 4 men went in but all came out too scared to move it! I went in, picked it up by hand and put it out to the sound of applause from my wussy male colleagues

If it had been a snake or even a big worm, I'd have run for the hills

funny thing is rep ties don't scare me but the slithering creeps me out and spiders well its irrational don't know why just they can move so fast and the buggers always try to get on me which creeps me out

My automatic response to the above statement is "Well, I find people who don't like cats to be very suspicious control freaks so if you will excuse me............" as I leave their company.


My theory is that saddo control freaks like dogs and hate cats because they can't, and won't, be controlled. Cats won't comply with their psychosis.
