Re: kitty not eating alone
Thing is, how do you know she's not eating when you're not there?!?!
Have you got a webcam on your PC? You could set up a motion sensored surveylance on her food bowl. I used something to keep an eye on Archie after his accident. I got something called "Gotcha surveylance" and it kept a video log of movement infront of the webcam... Very handy indeed. Or failing that, just weigh the food before you go to work... I'm sure you'll find she's just being lazy when you're out, like all good cats and sleeping until you come home. Chris.

Re: kitty not eating alone
Archie sleeps pretty much all day and only gets up to eat when something happens in the house (like we come home)

LOL Some cats are just strange; my kitty won't use her litter tray alone, and would rather hold it until someone is home to accompany her to the loo (it's a good thing I don't go out much!).
If the kitten is eating when you're around, then they're probably making up for not eating alone then; in other words, they likely eat more in one sitting than normal. I wouldn't worry about it, as many cats don't do much when their slaves are out. ![]() |
